I just have to say one thing: pastel de Belém is pastel de Belém, ant it's the best one, it's not a tourist trap or anything like it.... but manteigaria ones are very good too!

I just spent a week in Lisbon. Tapisco was fabulous. It was a Michelin star experience without the feeling of being hungry at the end. I will definitely go back. As a native San Franciscan I am still surprised how tricky Tricky is... Wonderful food, incredible people, special vibe. Barrio was good, but I expected a bit more. Another name to try is Sinhora Lisboa (Cozinha). I loved the classics like Ramiro and Time out. Despite living in Italy for the last 30 years, I don't know if I have ever eaten that well in our week in Lisbon. An incredible city to visit even in February. Incredible people.

I'm currently in Lisboa on a solo trip was lying hungover in my hotel room after a few to many in Barrio Alto last night. Whilst scrolling through the general KZbin fodder I stumbled across your vid. That octopus rice and rose looked too tempting. So I hopped in the shower and here I am. Sat in Tapasco, sipping on a delightfully crisp Rose, waiting for my octopus rice and cuttlefish to come!
