Squid are actually invertebrates. They’re cephalopods that belong to the mollusk phylum. The clear cartilage thing inside is called a “cuttle” Great episode, as always. Emily, trying that oyster on camera was a real test. Nobody can ever say you aren’t committed to making content.

I just watched the episode when Emily single-handed the boat and thought there's absolutely nothing she can't master if she puts her mind to it. I never thought her kryptonite would be fresh oysters! ☺ Great episode! Thanks!

Really enjoying your videos! Well done living the life you want and making it happen! My husband and I have a similar outlook on life and our relationship! I used to work for Tony Robbins and you can really see a different in your happiness since you sold the house and embarked on this journey! - Cheers

What fun! Would love to hear what the family thought of the guest accommodations on the boat and of sailing.
@adventurecrews Жыл бұрын
We actually didn’t go out sailing because of the weather while they were on board but I do think everyone enjoys the accommodations although tight.

What a great time. Mandy you look like you had a ball. Emily, I'd tell you oysters are an acquired taste but they're not. Lol. For your next claiming adventure try using your heel, no rake.

In Texas we call it a "squid feather". We just came across your KZbin channel a few weeks ago, went back and started from the beginning, and are up to here. You guys have us hooked! What an awesome experience and a great couple to document/deliver it. My wife and I started sailing last year (ASA 101/102) on a lake, landlocked here in Texas. We head to the BVI next month to get US Sailing 103/104/114 under our belt. We will see where it goes from there. Who knows - maybe we'll see you out there!

Great episode guys. Emily - I'm with you, I don't like oysters of any kind raw or cooked, except for oyster crackers....hahaha. Cole, My wife is Vietnamese and we eat a lot of seafood (a lot for me anyways), there is only one place I have found that I can eat squid, and that's a small restaurant in Arlington, TX. I can't wait to see what other adventures you have to share. Cheers from Texas.

I was really happy with this squid I used coconut flour and a little slap ya mamma seasoning and it was really good! Hey did you by a chance see we are up for an award in Annapolis? We need your help to vote Brian! Check out our post on IG please. Cheers, Cole

Did you anchor out or grab a mooring ball? How much per night & how much for the dinghy dock? Nice video👍😊

We grabbed a ball the first night just because we didn’t not know the lay of the land but after paying $80 for the night we quickly found were to anchor and it was great!
