I am looking for a place to celebrate me & handsome husbands 25th wedding anniversary, I want to go to Charleston, SC but we want to ride bikes and Alexandria/Arlington is only 2 hours away & Charleston js 10 lol. We are to leave on Monday & today is Thursday so this is crazy I can’t decide. lol. Pigeon forge is on list but I’m craving a small town feel & your video totally nailed it!!!! Beautiful video & I love your personalities & you both seem very real & down to earth. God bless you two on your travel adventures. Any tips of where to stay close to Alexandria? I’m looking at airb n b & I just briefly looked at hotels…$400 a night is out of my budget 😊

Hey, thanks! I'd say for sure do Alexandria. Charleston is great too, and we have a video on that from where we went there some time ago, but if you want to ride bikes around, you don't have to go far because Alexandria is great for it. Can't give you any real solid advice on Airbnbs but check again because I'm looking now and the most expensive thing I'm seeing is waterfront properties listed at $99 a night. I think the bike trail goes from Arlington to Alexandria too if I'm not mistaken. You could stay there if it's cheaper and ride your bikes to old town
