Just a small correction: the Douro river doesn't cut through Porto. Porto is only on the north bank, the south bank is a whole different city and a whole different county called Vila Nova de Gaia. Your bike ride, the restaurant by the beach, the park, the Caipirinha, the live music, it was all in Gaia. 95ºF (35ºC)? Pffft... that's nothing! Be glad that you were in Porto at that time, I wonder how you'd survive the 115ºF (~46ºC) we had here where I live in Central Portugal.

Wow! Great to see you happy in my town. One remark, tough: when you go on bike to the beaches, you've mentioned you want to go to "a place called Foz". Unfortunatelly you're on the south bank of the river, in Gaia, aproaching the magnificent beaches of south of Porto. Foz is a location in Porto, so it's on the north bank of the river (where the Douro meets the sea- that's also the meaning of the word "Foz"). And if you want to have good seafod, you should have gone to Matosinhos, also on the north bank of the river, right after the Foz area!

Great video! You really did get a lot in for the short time. I spent three nights in Porto when it was chilly and a little rainy in Spring. I would love to return for a longer stay sometime. It was so beautiful with such friendly people. Yay Portugal 🇵🇹!

Hi, we are going to Portugal in May. We were in Lisbon last November and loved it, decided to go back and this time go to Porto as well. But since we’ve been to Lisbon before we are thinking to cut our time in Lisbon down and maybe doing 2 days in Madrid and 3 days in Porto. Do you think we need😢 more time in Porto, should we maybe not try to do Madrid and just do Lisbon and Porto? We will have 11 full days in total.

In Madeira there’s less to see and do, but very beautiful! Between Lisbon and Porto, I’d go with Porto, so much to see do and food in Porto is amazing compared to Lisbon.

LIFE LESSON HERE. I'm from Algarve one of the hottest parts of Portugal, so when when it's really hot DO NOT drink cold drinks, Drink them room temperature or you will have a temperature shock and if you're lucky you'll end up at the hospital.

Jardim do Morro. It`s actually in Gaia, the city right across the river. Just cross the top of the bridge and that`s the park. It`s actually the place with the best view over Porto.

Hey César! It’s pricier because it’s located centrally in touristy area, but still more affordable than other restaurants in downtown. Cheers! There are other good places for 5-6 euro too

Sorry. They didn’t go to very typical food restaurants as you not experienced the local “cafés” but only “false gourmet locals”. Thanks to tourism false guides…commercially dependable! Prosit!

@@brittneyayers9565 "Sai Cão" Restaurant (Rua do Bonjardim - next to Trindade Station); "Café Nelma" for Francesinha (Rua do Bonjardim intersection with Rua do Paraiso - up the street from Sai Cão); "Conga" for Bifanas, "Pedro dos Frangos" for tradicional food (both these two also in the same street but more down, close to main square), Churrasqueira Paraiso for great grilled octopus, cod fish or my favorite - Rosbife); Casa Guedes for awesome Pernil sandwiches and Gazela for the world winner hot dogs. These two at batalha /Poveiros. And there`s a bunch more any local would recommend. Apart from the last two, all the others are the places where locals eat their everyday meal. you can find some with 5/6€ menu for lunch at any day.
