Rostov on Don looks so beautiful. I wish it got more attention. Its location and climate seems much more preferable to St Pete and Moscow

Very interesting insight into provincial Russia (Rostov on Don is basically still a provincial backwater of Russia) and how young and creative people live there. Something you absolutely don't see on western or even on russian TV.

it's not provincial at all

"It was work rather than leisure that was at the heart of the capistalit... sorry... soviet idea" Btw it was the bolchevick, not the soviet, which were gatherings of people in the idea of anarchism using real (or said "direct") democracy... Just sayin'

Ростов - удивительное место. Там никогда не отцветает жасмин. Там всё время ждёт девушка с косой до попы

I was adopted in at 3 1/2 from this city, I am now 21 as of July 8, and living in the U.S.A. This was an amazingly welldone trip vid. I have never been back to Russia, nor do I really wish to. The orphanage system was a bastard, and I was placed at birth. The communism that continues to expand disgusts me, to the core. Some parts of your video greatly illustrate the results of it, whther you meant to or not I see certain clips in this vid as a subtle awareness video without stepping on too many toes that'd care.

I was born in a village in Rostov oblast, and adopted from this city too but at 9 months old.. like you I was given up at birth and also haven’t been back, though I want to someday if things get better over there..

Very patronising banter from a VISITOR who should adhere to basic norms of etiquette. Go just 100 miles north of London and you will see many places dpzen times crappy and seedy than Rostov. Appreciate the positive and stop being snobbish. Rostov na Don is known to be a great city full of enthusiastic youngsters. Not like the junkies and criminals we find all over the UK.

She is part of a people group who are trained to only focus on negativity and victim status. These people and western media cannot be trusted in Russia.
