You have to go to the outer Cape....Wellfleet, Truro, Provincetown....it's like nothing else! Just went for the first time in May and absolutely loved loved loved it......esp the beach road and small cottages in Truro and an unbelievable whale watching trip from Ptown. Expensive place, though. Camping would be a good option!

Sweet video and sweet memories. As a young man in my early 20's, my girlfriend and I stayed both at Big Meadow Lodge as well as Skyland. This was over 40 years ago. Hiking Old Rag mountain as well as seeing the old hemlocks was such a beautiful experience. I think fondly of those simpler times, young and with all the joy of the experiences made in those youthful years there. Thank you for this video. You two are a beautiful couple. WHEN YOU have seen all the S.N.P. and it is so great, head south on the Blue ridge parkway, the two run into each other at Afton Mountain. Many good hikes and things to see, camping is of the parkway in private places but it is some fun things to see, LIke Crabtree falls. Hike on and remember your good times to look back on when you are a bit to old. Dave

Oh my I was there in early June as well and stayed in the Big Meadows area too! So sad I missed yall! I really enjoyed Shenandoah as well. We were also surprised at how quiet it was in June. The ranger told us their busy season is in October. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us, as always!

Thank you very much for another great video. After seeing this video my perception of John Denver´s famous song shifted a little bit. I only heard it with my ears until now. But I think I can also hear it by my heart now. It´s one of the many fantastic landscapes all over our planet.

I'm flashed.. I watched this vid and saw my homeland.. But in the US? Impossible. 😮 If you ever visit the Palatinate forest, and standing on the "Hambach Castle, looking down to the the" Rheinebene", you have the the exact same view. Even the rocks on the top of the mountains are nearly the same. Ours are more " red-brownish". The density of the forest is the same. I love the Shenandoah region, because it's a copy of my home ❤

That’s an area we know well and have hiked many of the trails. Blue Ridge Parkway nearby is also beautiful.

Great video Chad and Clair ❤ You two are such a beautiful talented couple. Always a joy to watch where you travel. That is a great tent. I loaned ours to my daughter in-law and think she might think we gave it to her lol. I do t mind though I am looking to buy a new tent and that is pretty cool. Just checked out your link Great views there and funny about roasting marshmallows. I like the charcoal on the marshmallow so I put mine in the fire Thank you two for sharing ❤❤

Loved this video! Made me really want to get out and camp soon. Can’t beat s’mores and hot dogs lol. Also loved the clip of Claire driving 🎉❤ hope one day you guys make it over to Nova Scotia and get to experience our skyline trail to compare 😊
