Historically, you’ve always published a guide of somewhere literally days before I head there myself. Missed the mark on this one, guys. About a year late for me! 😭😭 Jokes aside, beautiful as always and that whisky tour looks exceptionally interactive! Alby’s was absolutely phenomenal, so I’m glad you experienced it too!

Was on holiday with my wife in London in January this year and walked past this gentleman on the street in Soho. Was completely star stuck ! Love the videos ! Superb content ❤

as an Edinburgh local you hit the nail on the head with most of the places even with the fleeting snapshots of where to go, just maybe not Johnnie Walker, maybe go to the bow bar or the abbey bar or any nice whisky bar but I guess the tour itself is very educational and visual and worth it, food wise I would go to other places for dinner as well

One of the things I think never gets said enough in travel/food videos is how important it is to get lost and explore the side and back streets of a city. Just visited Hakodate, Japan and wandered for hours finding nice shops like bakeries with very tasty wares. Would have missed out on these treats if I just stuck to the main roads or recommended spots only.

I couldn’t agree with this more. In our “how I plan our episodes” video, I say that by far the best way to discover great food spots is to wander. I’ve discovered so many gems this way.

@@attachetravel this is always the first place I look when going somewhere new. Going to Poland in March and wish you had something on Warsaw or Krakow! Also, thanks for doing the Layovers podcast, but you need to bring back Mastication Nation! you never made it through the 2nd round of the alphabet.

I'm sure it might feel a little played out, I love the food-focused videos. Combined with the high production value and Alex's personality, I feel like I'm watching an episode of Anthony Bourdain's shows. Gotta visit Edinburgh someday

That's really kind, thank you. It was nice to return to our roots for this one.

This isn't a scotch pie, this is a steak pie. They are similar, but it's fundamentally different with the filling. It's better eaten hot, you normally get them from a traditional Scottish bakery, or greasy spoon restaurant. Born in Scotland, living in Edinburgh..

Johnnie Walker, owned by Diageo, is a no go. Absolutely ripped the heart out of the town, Kilmarnock, where it was born, bred and spend its entire existence. After doing that, they could have opened their visitor experience in the town but instead chose Edinburgh, a city with no ties to JW at all. Plenty of people would have traveled to Kilmarnock for an authentic JW experience but instead Diageo went for the one that would make them more money.
