48 HOURS THRIFTING IN DALLAS || FLEA STYLE MARKET

I packed my bags for 48 hours of vintage and thrift shopping in Dallas. Time to see if the second-hand shopping really is bigger and better in Texas.
First stop, we’ll be heading to the Flea Style 10th Anniversary Fall Market to ring in 10 years of Flea Style in Dallas. Flea Style is a locally owned shop that specializes in vintage, hand-made, and one of a kind items, and is always a must-stop when I’m in town. There will be over 150 vendors at the market, so we’ll be doing lots of vintage shopping and meeting so many new friends!
Then, we're hitting up 4 Dallas thrift stores for a full day of thrift shopping!

Hello from a fellow thrifter in Wisconsin! It seems like if people are either smaller or larger than the average body type, it's easier to find beautiful items secondhand! You're very petite, and I wear a 2X-3X, so we're able to score some major bargains! I always find things from Plus Size Boutiques like Lane Bryant, Torrid, and Catherine's. I also have a bit of a funky style, even at my age (44), and thrift shopping is the best way to find unique and beautiful items. Love your channel and love this video! 🙂💟

You need to stop by Genisis Thift store in Dallas off of Lemon Ave next time you are in the area. It is where people from Highland Park donate (one of the richest neighborshoods in the world). Not tons of vintage, but amazing designer pieces and lots of amazing basics.

What I find so funny is the ooooing and awwwwwing over most, not all ,of the clothing from the 70's and 80's that came from Kmart and other low end retailer's that I wouldn't of even considered buying and I have a good taste. The 70's knit dress...Oh My Gosh! It is so ugly, it was then and still is. The patched handbag..no no no no...they sold those in magazine ads for 9.99 and yes, they were ugly then and they still are. So happy the young one's are enjoying them. To each their own. We did have some stylish clothing in those decades that I remember and loved. I did like the maxi corduroy skirt you modeled...now your talking 70's!!!

My hubby is from Dallas and we head south on road trips to visit his family and friends every 2-3 months and would appreciate and be extremely grateful if y’all would share this inspirational list with all of us. I never was a big thrift store shopper until my bf, Amy, started selling antique home decor and pottery in a booth in a local Antique Mall around 2003 and I was her wingwoman 😉 to sooo many stores, flea markets, estate sales, yard sales and Antique Malls and was obsessed from the first day.🥰♥️ I have learned a lot of valuable information about Antiques, how to determine the authenticity of antiquities, the interesting history behind great companies, and the quality of both Fashion and Home Decor which has been a resourceful tool to have while foraging and shopping for over 15 years. A day at the Thrift Store or Antique Mall is ALWAYS a great 👍🏻 day. 😍🤩 I am so obsessed with your channel and your style.
