What feature gets you the most fired up on this camera?!

I like it all. But low light is great, and I really like the fast software/menu, and batteri is not empty after days in the bag (like GoPro, always empty when i need it). Lens is great. I have GoPro and dji, and now Insta ace pro and it is the best by far 👌

absolute garbage close focusing compared to go pro and dci..please fix it..and low light in regular video mode is horrible compared to go pro. I don't know why everyone is lieing

Hi, how is the quality of the microphone? I am planning to get an action cam (still a little torn between this and DJI Action 4) as a quick and fuss free vlog/action camera outside of my Sony mirrorless cam. I don't see any reviewers/Insta360 themselves talking about it, I would naturally assume that it is definitely not of amazing quality, but would to ask in terms of connectivity between the Ace Pro and 3rd party wireless mics (DJI wireless, Rode wireless, etc.) if you have tested on that aspect.

pretty average for an onboard mic but not complaining at all about it. It has a directional mode built it for talking to camera, or a wind reduction mode, or a stereo mode (default) didn't try connecting an external solution

Any chance you could check the LRV files and let us know the resolution and frame rate? Most importantly, does the LRV frame rate match the frame rate of the main video file? On previous insta360 cameras the LRV files have a lower frame rate (14.98fps) which makes them useless for using as proxy files for editing. Gopro & DJI cameras use a matching frame rate for their LRV files, so they can be used as proxies for editing. To check the frame rate & resolution you just need to rename the LRV file from .lrv to .mp4 and then it will work like a normal video file. Thanks in advance!

From all the early reviews I watched today, it seems like you guys received a different version compared to the one Insta360 is promoting commercially. On their website, they show the 8k capabilities, and none of you mentioned it, which is quite surprising!

yea our early review units didn't have 8k in the firmware so didn't want to lie about it. The 4k on it looks amazing anyway, but stoked to see the 8K when it hits

hmm I don't think so. the Ace Pro is really good and you can shoot in a flat profile if you want too giving you almost no saturation except for what you add in post
