As someone 10 yrs older than Scottie, I hate to say this but Eboni was right. The pool of men gets smaller and smaller the older you get especially if you are trying to partner with a black man. It’s not our faults cause we do get better with time if we work on ourselves mentally and spiritually as well as professionally and financially. However, men (typically) do not view it the same way. They would rather have someone less “seasoned” and need them. This is where Eboni is coming from-when you are that young (earlier to mid 20s) you are less seasoned and not as established as you could be in your 40s. However I agree. I’m happily single because I am not desperate to be partnered with child(ren). And y’all right the money part of the conversation. This is my first time catching y’all podcast. It’s refreshing, fun and interesting. Thanks for the great content.

Dating in my 40's is very interesting. Trying not to date men with young kids is tough. I'm at the bar with my daughter meanwhile you coloring with your kindergartner lol
