48 sportster rear chop

After plasti dipping my 48 two and a half years ago it was time for a change... always wanted to do this but always chickened out of cutting it right back, but then I thought, what the hell, go for it.. Thanks again to Matt for doing the cutting ( I didn't trust myself).. I did the paint and soldering for the indicators and general bits and bobs.

Nice work. Your bike looks good, love the front tire. I have an 07 sporty that I cut the rear struts off but use no fender at all; 10" shocks, welded the turn signals to the frame just forward of the top shock mounts. Hand tooled solo springer seat, and finally wrapped drag pipes.

Hi just bought a sporty 48 really wanna new air cleaner for it.. did u have to stage 1 yours? Love the grey paint job too.. where did you get the headlight grill?

dazlarg yeah it's stage one, I think most are, the grill is rough crafts, the paint is actually black but because is Matt it looks a bit charcoal colour
