Okay I have a 49 that's been sitting in the yard for years and now you got me wanting to duplicate your build! This is awesome love it. Would love to hear the story on the full build for the car.

Just check out the other videos of it. I also documented the build on Kill billet.com . A writer did a write up of it on Hotrod Hotline.com

Awesome it looks, the way the headers, exhaust flowing... Love the chassis work below and the interiors... Love ❤ the patina ...the engine rumble.. I can go on and on...sweet looking rat. Thanks for sharing

What an incredibly nice build! Super sanitary, you should submit an article to Hot Rod mag. You got skills Todd! It would have been cool to mount the shifter to the roll bar over your head, with nice heim jointed linkages down the center of the windshield to the cable and on to the trans. HA!
@toddclyne34935 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the nice comment. I do race it and not sure if a shifter as described would work but great idea. Hotrodhotline.com did a write up of it a couple years ago. I've never really tried to get it in any magazines.

Hey no problem Todd, you deserve the praise, the construction on your Willys is top caliber, really clean and very well done. :)

Nice to see somebody else use a 401 in a rod. 7 yrs ago I built a street legal belly tank with a turbo'd 401 & shorty 727. It's a rare moment that anybody pics what the engine actually is.
@toddclyne34938 жыл бұрын
NZ Salt Flats Racer thank you.. Your right they uselly just take a guess at it. Turbo 401 now I like the sound of that. I thought about doing a twin turbo setup on this.
@nzsaltflatsracer80548 жыл бұрын
I'm a cheap-ass, 7.3 Powerstroke turbo blows through a kitchen pot bolted on an 800 Holley DP & junk yard aluminum manifold. Makes over 650 hp at the wheels.
