Those are the most sparkly beautiful fish I have EVER seen! You would never know you did resin surgery on the one fin.😊 It looks perfect. That mermaid glitter oh my my Mia! Stunning!!! The goldfish is just WOW! They are so pretty it is hard to find words to describe them.

Still very beautiful with the glitter. Mark the top of the mold while empty so you'll be able to find the fins easier. Both are great!

Wow, Michelle, you are so creative. I would’ve never thought of doing or of making a fin like that. But in the future, you can put a dot on the side of that mold where the thins are so you don’t have to search for them you just sharpie, you know and mark wherethey’re supposed to go and then you’ll always know. Of course I mean Mark on the side or on the bottom not on the inside but man oh man, they are beautiful. Great job great safe beautiful colors.❤❤

For those fins a pipette or eye dropper..something like that to get into the space and fill it with some resin. Also, marking the outside of the mold at any deep spots so you can get bubbles out and get cavities filled.

Try casting a fin in the mold with UV or regular, then make the repair, which might be seamless in appearance.

The only way to fill the fins, is to use a pipette, before you fill the rest of the mold…. If you’re using chunky glitter, snip the end of the pipette off… But in the end, you saved the day!! Everyone has the same trouble, which is probably why it was gifted to me…. Lol

A thought. Regarding the wedge base under the big blue fish, could you first pour some clear light blue 'water' just in the wedge to differentiate it from the actual body of the fish . You might have to cure it tipped up so the clear didn't go into the tail but once cured, you could do the dusting and glitter pouring. So so pretty both of them.

Wow, massive blinding bling on these fish! Gorgeous colors! Amazing fix for the Mia's Mermaid fish! That's some serious fish bling going on! Yeowza, gf! Only thing in hindsight you could change now that you know the molds is on the fat goldfish, leave the fin on the back clear to match the tail on your next one. And just a thought, If you try the beta again, maybe try to fill fhe fins before pouring your resin? Either with UV, or maybe just with your regular resin? Use the micas in those very front fins, anyway?

Michelle if you go in on the gold fish and trim the inside of that mold where the fins are sometimes they dont get them very clean and trimmed up it will work I had to do this on a few of my dog molds ears love the goldfish

Just stunning both of them.. What if you turn the mold inside out & look for where the broken fin came from & then on the outside of the mold mark the shape exactly where it is. Hopefully if the opening is a little tight you might be able to fix it somehow Still it he's handicapped that just makes it more unique Great work fixing the fin though
