@@Chiefz military MRE’s. If you know anything about them, they’re not great but they’re not bad either. Lots of calories and they are perfect for camping. You mentioned being a “garbage disposal” so you’ll actually probably like them, lol. I get cases every time we go do field training exercises. Would be glad to donate as much as you want.

Hey man really like seeing you fish for steelhead. I was born and raised in Oregon and fished for salmon and steelhead both from a boat and the bank. Here lately our fish runs real low in numbers. But it’s all about the fishing and being on the river. You need to come out to the west coast and see where most of your fish you are chasing have come from. Nothing like catching a salmon out steelhead with sea lice on it and scales falling off because they are right out of the ocean. I see you use roe and if you respond to this message I can let you know of some of the egg cures we use. Anyway keep on chasing these magical fish, I am 62 and I shake like a leaf when I hook or Even get a tug. Thanks man the ones who do not like to see you get excited just do not share your Passion! I do though

I do think 8’s and 10’s have a lot of merit. Maybe it’ll be something I’ll switch to down the road. In my experience I haven’t been faced with less bites due to slightly larger hook size. If anything I disguise it more in the spawn bag and it helps get the bait down🤷♂️
