What a fantastic place. We stayed in a bothy once, on the top of the Cheviots. It was an old railway carriage, the weather was awful and we were so glad of it. It was the last night of our walk along the Pennine Way so we left some supplies, tea bags, sugar, stuff, like that for anyone else who may have needed them.

I really loved this film and wanted to thank you Campbell especially. You talked in the film about about appreciating everything and not taking what we have for granted. That really resonated with me. For the past 2 years I have been a stroke survivor and I am currently laid up recovering from a knee replacement. Having gone from the most outdoorsy person to this in the past 2 years is no fun. Also my van goes for it's MOT next week so who knows. Anyway I loved the film and have just cleared my head with a walk along my road. I love your channel guys. You are fun and inspiring. Hopefully I can get out in van soon. Two weeks till I can drive, fingers crossed for the MOT ❤. Keep living and loving life ❤.

I walked in to Kervaig as part of the Cape Wrath Trail before heading for the Lighthouse. Stayed in that little room. It is amazing to be on a beach that onlybhas your footprints. Many comments suggest you wish to stay and since it is free join the MBA so they are funded to continue this great work of maintIng the Bothies.

That was a tantalising view of what we missed on our visit to Cape Wrath mid-June last year. The ferry didn’t operate for several days because of the weather, and when we did use it to get to the lighthouse we only got occasional views of the cliffs and the sea through gaps in the mist. Now we see what it looks like in good weather it really does look stunning.

What an enchanting adventure. Heartfelt too. Loved your little speech Campbell @17:22. Yeah I wondered what if other nomads came along and trudged in on you? Thanks for the glimpse of the lighthouse as well. You do recall I have an affinity for those things ;) LOL at the end! Midgies...I don't believe we have those in the states. Aye, a special place Kervaig. The place has been gentrified, lined out with wood paneling, must help with insulation. A freind,s ashes were scattered by the gable end, a fitting resting place.
