Thank You for sharing this Info , I have used 3-4 different throttle and they all are on the cheap This one you show now is the most durable + reliable I have used .There is no real way out of this that i found , exept when i order them i order 3 or 4 and after 1 or two quick fixing them as you mentionned Magnet loosening and such i replace them . This was my very 1st lesson about E-Bike Hobbying have a spare of everything that takes ware < chains -throttle - cassets ... etc... Cheers & ride safe

Your video just saved me! I pushed a small piece of toothpick behind the sensor as I noticed that the throttle stop hits it directly after the casing falls away. I hope it holds. The problem I had was that the throttle stopped working if you pushed it to max.

That is one of the weirdest, coolest video effects ive ever seen from a non commercial creator. What camera, software were you using? The warp, the sway, the clarity of the foreground object with subtle blur if the background, same for lighting. Amazing

This video really help me my thumb throttle broke it was similar to this, so a throw it down, I bought another one but different and cheaper so it didn't work, i dissamble it and I noticed that it was diferente to the original of this video.

Hey thanks for the information on the video! I have a similar problem with my "jetson breeze" scooter. my sensor is broken and I cant find the replacement throttle online. I see others that look lime theyd work for it but they have different connection tips going from the throttle to the inside of the scooter somewhere. Any ideas on how I can fix this??

hi thanks for this video, i have a wisper 905 is uses a full size throttle, do you have any experience with that? i`m having problems with power cutting out when using the throttle, i was told it has 3 barbs inside and hard to remove , i am pretty competent at electronics but worried about opening it !

yeh the little 3 barb diode or whatever it is is usually glued in, just check for a break in the three leads if there is like mine you may be able to put a tiny drop of solder between them, DONT TOUCH YOUR SOLDER PEN TO THE LEADS ON THE DIOED THEY WILL MELT.

I have a thumb throttle on my fat tire bike. My problem is pushing down on the throttle my thumb becomes painful I tried adjusting it upwards but it still bothers me are there any solutions to this? Any mods to make it more comfortable?

i have the same 48v 1000w kit, but mine is the normal twist throttle, after 3 years of use, it is now randomly going full throttle, not sure what it is but im going to start with taking the throttle apart, today i wa slifting the bike over a fence and the wheel spun up, i was wearing a glove, it burnt straight through the glove and my finger. ouchy.

We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. kzbin.infoUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

a thick super glue i used, but am sure there are loads of glues that will work

Can someone please tell me what the diode looking thing is that is the three prong "sensor" he is referring to that he glued on, I broke one of the leads into this "sensor" at the casing of the sensor and there's not even enough to solder onto. I know this is what broke and I cant find this sensor or diode anywhere.

Can anybody tell me how I can determine which is the 5v Wire, which is the Ground Wire and which is the Hall Effect wire on my cheapo throttle? I am trying to wire a Kelly KLS and it's a bugger as I am used to the old plug-and-play varieties. Thanks.

Test it with a voltimetre, normally the 5v is red, ground black, and receptor green or white. But to make sure yo can get a multimetre try the 3 cable in the hall sensor it will tell you, when it show you 4.80 - 5v, if it is show you minus. (-5v)so turn the cable and you will have the +in the red cable o the multimetre, the last cable is the signal receptor

My bike since new has accelerated much to quickly, much to early. It's basically unridable on rough surfaces. Needs less power early in the throttle movement. Any one know if it's adjustable or can we find other controls ?

Your bike might have a "road legal" wire that needs hooked up. Depending on the bike, that might also be a controller setting. It basically drops your voltage to 750W.

Someone know how does it work, do the lights have any funtion with the hall sensor, I try to adapt another throttle to my bycicle but it didn't work, but now I noticed watching this video, the green cable go to the light and then return to the hall sensor, does the diodos work with hall sensor? Can anyone explain me the diagram. Please, thanks

☠️☠️☠️ I've been experiencing extremely dangerous episodes of the motor not stopping as soon as I turn the throttle , related to high humidity conditions ! I think it's because the humidity increases conductivity of the hall sensors in the throttle . can you recommend a good throttle ? I think the manufacturers are going to have to make them water proof. I experienced the same issue with a different throttle , battery and controller. just using the bike after a rain storm is enough to cause the issue. We must have a throttle will a switch to cut power ! ☠️ Also stop using hot glue on the Hall sensors ! It melts were I live ! And make the throttle not Fall apart so easy , and they need to be made with softer grips or made to accept normal grip's.
