Not mentioning here because I'm offended or anything, I have no family relations with any of the sharks, but Ghazal is not to attract beauty, she has build a brand and that is why she is sitting there, she is an Entrepreneur, maybe new to the space but she is here for the 'work' she has done, her beauty is an added advantage. Vineeta has build Sugar from zero. Bolna bohot aasan hai karna bohot mushkil. She is from IIT and IIM and she has worked extremely hard and she is super smart and intelligent, rejected big companies offer after her IIM to build her own brand. It takes guts to do that when the job offer is 1 crore plus. Pehle to vo vahan pahunchi where people dream to reach uske baad chodkar apna brand banaya bohot badi baat hai. And what about Namita- she is the MD of Emcure for a reason. Business family lineage se mila hai but use efficiently handle karna, sabke bas ki baat nahi hoti , ache achon ki nahi hoti. And on top of this they are wonderful mothers and manage family as well. India mein rehkar especially ek woman hokar(because no matter itna equal keh lo we know yahan woman ko kitna dekha jaata hai) ye banana. Is a FEAT. AND RESPECT TO THEM. Piyush's statement and concern that the other investor is not a strategic investor (they are a financial investor instead) and they're diluting the equity by such a high percentage is genius. And the correct reason to be out of the deal. There's no problem in giving a higher stake to a strategic investor as they are involved in the strategic descion making and company growth too alongwith providing funds, but a financial buyer is just for the ROI and will be the first one to pull out the funds once he sees a better rate of return elsewhere. It's similar to a bank loan. And this why Ashneer offered to put the exponents out. He basically saved the company.

If my math is correct then ashneer getting deal in terms of: A)1cr 59L (Principal+Interest) as return on 99L loan(investment) after 5 yrs. B)1% equity for 1L investment on 1cr valuation ,but company current valuation is 60 cr which means 1% equity is 60L. In short 60L return as 1% equity on 1L Investment. after 5yrs : nearly 59L profit on loan + 59 L on equity = 1cr 18L total profit on investment of 1cr over 5yrs. ROI : 118% Annual ROI : 23.6% On 5yrs investment and risk.🤯 Not a fan or critic of ashneer and other sharks but he is coming out as Real SHARK in terms of negotiation and overall game.
