I’m always so glad to see everything you’ve preserved for the generations to enjoy. Many of those items took a lot of ingenuity to invent, no calculators or computers, all math done longhand, metal castings, lots of work to manufacture and a lot of work to get it into a mine and commissioned for operation. Those blasting caps reminded me of a neighbor in Spokane who happened onto a blasting cap under an old home and in handling it somehow it detonated and blew a couple of his fingers off. As always thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and passion with all of us 🌞

9:10- I believe that is a small Mercury drum. Most I have seen are about 2-3 times that size. 18:57- It doesn't matter if that is AC or DC if you use a lamp load or a universal motor (Runs on AC or DC current). You could also use an old inductive (heating coil) heater as a load, but it must not have any solid state controller parts. The old screw in (lamp base) coil heaters that screwed into a reflector would be perfect. I have a large crucible to donate to your museum also, if you would like it. The steam generator could be tested using compressed air. Also air powered chainsaws are used for underwater logging.

Wow, your collection for the Museum is growing !! You have made a lot of progress in the short time you have had and I'm impressed by all the history you have collected. I'd love to see you fire up that generator and see if it still works !!
