Its just wrong that an officer of the law, who is suppose to be neutral and uphold the law, breaks it themselves because they are trying to protect monsters! That officer should be relieved of his duties immediately!!!

Yes I very well agree, they are monsters. But it just goes to show that our law officers are too, by protecting the main monsters who hurt defenseless animals. We have the same problem here in Australia, where they want cull out our mountain Brumbies, who carried out fellow soldiers the Gallipoli war, how sick these parasites of government bodies have become.

Guys, you don’t understand how much power these organizations hold. Any meat slaughtering places. They all spend billions on lobbying the politicians in their favor. It’s all the same. This is why people aren’t allowed to go protest in most meat packing places. Europeans are much more better at it. All the protest are there and consumer protections and animal welfare is night and day to what happens here. This is why legally Americans can’t sell meat or dairy products to Europe. Nobody wants the garbage Americans consumers are force fed with. We talk about other countries, but we’re literally worse than any democracy. I’m so glad for this channel. Only education and exposure will change things.

The auction not letting you in was a blessing in disguise, if you look at how successful your buy out program has been in such a short time! This is a miracle that is long overdue to help these poor underappreciated equines

How is it a “blessing in disguise” they are not allowed in the auction?
@magicpensel9548
@magicpensel9548 Жыл бұрын
@@cynthiacarter514 Because it means they get the horses before they have to suffer at the auction. The horses they get don't get exposed to that stress. Also the auction house looses money, because they get no comission. And last but not least it looks like they are getting more horses this way compared to when they did the auction
@topazzsky

Usually you rescue around 20, but it actually seems that your getting more horses even though it's more work. More lives being saved is the goal as long as the atrocity of horse slaughter exists.

The more 'they' kick and scream and try to find ways to stop you from rescuing horses through loose interpretations of laws, the more those antiquated laws will come into the bright light of our scrutiny and we can litigate for change. Also, I think you should have an attorney with you to immediately inform you of your rights while interacting with law enforcement.

KIf it was me, I think I would try talking to their Senators and Representatives for their area, or better yet, the whole state. Never hurts to try going that route. Put together all the information, present reasons why they need to be allowed back at the auction, and everything else they've been trying since been banned from auction grounds. I wish I was better at talking to large groups, especially important people such as senators and representatives, but I get nervous when talking to more than a few people, other than friends, family, and whe n I was still working, customers.

Re the mare with the maggoty poll, Dr Lydia finds the little critters fascinating! I think they are both cringe making and also very useful. I have picked and washed them out of 'people' wounds, you can't gag or shrink away as you don't want the patient to realise what they have in their wounds. They only eat dead matter so it doesn't hurt so much. The mare was incredibly calm as if she knew she was being helped, I hope she heals well and goes on to having a lovely life with someone who will treat her properly. You did so well rescuing so many.
