@@tigeryumyums9407 in classic, I definitely prefer having Windfury. There are some raid bosses that can take increased fire damage and you would use flametongue for that situation, but in general for PvP and most PvE, windfury is my go-to.

During Vanilla one of my best friends ran a Troll shaman. He had Hand of Rag with BWL/AQ40 gear. Anyway he let me log on when he worked so I got to experience the one shots. This video reminded me of those days. Thank you! And a quick story playing his toon. I ran up to LM to defend it. Saw a mage sitting and drinking. Was in rank 12/13 gear. Dismounted. Hit storm strike. Dead.

I had this EXACT set up in TBC. I also grabbed hammer of the northern winds + flurry axe for duel wield and mongoose enchant on everything ughhh i need to make this again i loved the 49 bracket

Hammer of northern winds and a shield is what I typically switch to when vsing rogues and warriors - the attack speed on that thing is so dirty and it procs a lot. had a lot of fun in this bracket for sure!

@@scaryhairygary7281 I know,. I have a 49 Shammy twink aswell both gears Enhancement and Ele.....Ele is the way to go really. WF procs doesn't really kill of the first hit nowadays, since everyone is over geared.

how far would you say this axe lasts.. to like 55?

I would say it depends on the class, but for shaman, for PvP I'd replace it at level 50 with the dark iron pulverizer, since it has a higher top end damage and a more fun proc. But the axe would be viable for leveling until 55 for sure. For warriors / paladins I would replace this axe with ice barbed spear at level 51.

I leveled out of the 49 bracket and joined 59, but as a 49 twink I was able to 1v1 most level 60 mages I encountered
