Made a dranei warrior, maxed herbalism as high as I could, had all heirloom gear and crusade on my axe. Went into wsg at 16 with heal from dranei trait, herbalism, and crusade I had most damage and healing then by like triple then anyone else. Took a lot of time to max all that stuff but result was a lot of fun😅

Rallying cry of the dragonslayer alone at lvl1-10 gives 100% crit. The Warchief's blessing gives around 250% haste. His gear is irrelevent for the most part, those two buffs alone make your characters insane. Protip: bumrushing Ony with a friend or two just to hand the quest in speeds up your alt levelling so much, it's like 10 minutes of travelling and killing for a 2 hour super buff for your alts. Same with WCB (but that buff requires more running around.)

So back in the day, you used to get almost 100% dodge because of how it scales with level. Was crazy.

The main thing that made these low lvl twinks possible was the removal of % with haste and crit, before in vanilla items used to give for example +1% crit. In tbc that was changed to 10 crit rating. So the onyxia buff used to give 5% crit it now gives 50 crit rating. 50 crit rating for a level 60 character equates to 5% crit, 50 crit rating on a lvl 1 character however equates to about 120% crit because of the scaling😂 the same goes for rend buff instead of +15% haste it gives that number in haste rating which is why he attacks so fast!

you can even better trinket ... if you farm rep from the ogrilar in TBC and get max rep ypu can buy a trinket there which gives you about 140 atack power as lvl 1

There’s a person you can talk to in org/SW that actually cuts off you gaining exp. At the level that you are on. And you can go back whenever and just cut it back on

Back when "Classic" was just wow there was a HUGE twink scene. It's fairly easy with a group of friends and high level mains to make them. Blizzard totally destroyed the twink scene by adding xp to battlegrounds.

I was on a private server that didnt have quests or raids, it only had PVP. It was a PVP only server, and you gained experience by killing players, which also gave gold and honor. You were in shattrath and all the vendors had gear you could buy, including quest items. So I made a druid, got to level 14. The level tiers were 10-14 and 15-19 so on so forth, So 10-14 is the first tier you can be at since you spawn at level 10 and cant be lower than 10 (since PVP naturally unlocks at 10 they didnt see a reason to change it) So what I did was I disabled EXP gain which was on this server before it existed on WoW. And so I just PVPd for days and days until I had enough gold and honor to buy a level 70 (max level at the item) quest item (quest items didnt have lvel requirements because the level requirement is implied through the quest level, but since theres no quests, theres effectively no level requirement for these items) So I was a level 14 druid in full level 70 quest gear taking on battle grounds against 20 players level 10-14. Every so often i'd be up against one other player who had 1 item that was level 70, usually a staff. You can tell because he'll be the one enemy with 2000 health at level 14. But no one did it as long as I did it for because i'd be the only guy with 15000 health. And the strategy was basically cast rejuvination on myself and then on my entire team, healing everyone to max health every 3 seconds, and if my team somehow would lose then i'd engage badass mode and just moonfire the enemy team to death. unsportsmanlike for sure, but thats kinda just the nature of being a twink in the first place, overpowering yourself as much as possible as low level as possible. on normal WoW servers you could do the same thing by having a level 70 priest cast Fortitude on you, back then it just gave you like 2000 stamina which at low levels gave you more health than would be reasonable. So PVP back on original wow servers was full of people stacking overpowered buffs, that is until blizz servers fixed this in Cata by completely reworking every single spell and buff to be a % instead of a flat number thereby removing twinking entirely.

that's what it was like twinking in MoP or Cata. you'd have 200k health and everyone else had 20k aimed shot would do 40k crits, wyvern shot, kill shot all 30k all you had to do was have someone farm the cata dungeons or buy all the panda BOEs from AH every game with 100+ KBs and no deaths I had like every class made

Is it true that WoW Classic enchanting is as vanilla as the day it was born? No restrictions? That's why I quit so long ago.. I loved my twinks and was a master at 2-boxing. I was devastated when they ruined twinking originally. Are the vanilla quests all still the same too? There was a level 40 bow quest that you could complete before level 19 if you were careful and had help. If this is the case again then I might have to make a comeback!

Thats crit thing is not true in classic you have the weapon rating 5 points eqaul 0.4.% dodge 0.4% parry 0.4% miss , if a lvl 1 attacks a lvl 60 it is 24% dodge 24% miss and 24% parry so even if ypu have 100% crit rate at lvl 1 the hit table only can give you 24+24+24=72 so you can land 28 hits out of and even if all of the hits´s are crits it is stll guessing who kills who.

Pretty pitiful twinking possibilities in WoW. Anarchy Online was a lot better for that. Many Items did not have a level requirement, but a stats requirement. So you could ladder yourself into pretty much anything with proper number crunching and implant swapping.

🤣 no. Forcing players to have high level characters to feed your lower levels is not a fair mechanic. It screws over anyone trying to genuinely play the game, especially if you don't want to spend copious amounts of time on a game just so you have a chance. Completely destroys PVP when you have a level 10 fully geared out taking out decently geared level 19's.

You didnt play before 2010 have you. Level 1 gnome rogue twinks were all the business in vanilla through wotlk. Besides a tradition. Gnome is the best pvp race for alliance until humans got their racial updated.

I remember I had 19 Paladin twink, I think it was in WotLK. Some time before Blizz killed twinking by putting experience in BGs and forcing twinks to freeze their the exp which put them in their own bracket. Not that pubstomping was every really the fun of twinking, but intermixed BGs were always way more entertaining than BGs that were all twinks. Clashing with the other twinks on the enemy team while non-twinks did their best to steer clear was just a much different dynamic than what you get in max level BGs. The 1v1s you could have against another twink within a BG were legendary.
