49 Winchester - Blue Ribbon Blues

From the mountain town of Castlewood, VA, which only has about 2,000 people. The name 49 Winchester is based off of the street in which the band grew up. In the fall of 2013, 49 began playing acoustic shows in the months after graduating High School. They were well received into the region's musical heritage and have performed at Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, Mountain Music Festival, The Burl in Lexington, & festivals and fairs across Appalachia.
The band has an electric live show but stays true to their roots in folk, ragtime, country, & blues, to create their blend of Appalachian music.
