I think it's usually for a dayboat usage rather than for long range cruise! Seems very comfortable!

Tony, nice review of the Cobalt A36. It is an odd combination of cabin cruiser and bow rider. It looks smaller than it is and reminds me of my parent's first boat, a 21 ft. Bayliner where my brother and I had to sleep out in the canvassed area in sleeping bags :o). It is too bad that there isn't a shower in the w/c (even if one can't stand) or a small burner stove. The boat is probably best suited for a lake. I guess you spoiled me with the Sea Ray L650!

Not impressed with it at all. My sister and brother-in-law's 25 ft Sea Ray was set up better with a small galley, sleeping for four, and a full head with a holding tank. Also flat screen TV. You could also fully stand up in the main cabin.

There is no way this boat is worth almost 500mil. Check out Beneteau 32 or 36 GT. Both cheaper and offer much, much more above and below deck.

If you want more cabin space then you are correct you should definitely look at a Beneteau or something like the Jeanneau NC33 which I have a tour of on the channel. This boat would be suited more for someone that wants something fast and fun for the lake or coast.
