Now that's what I'm talking about. I watch Joey's podcast and litterally just looked up Joey Diaz grateful dead, just assuming that he was a fan and I find this. Great podcast man it's right up my alley

Crazy to hear Joeys into the dead! One of those bands I'm saving for when I need them. Box of rain is so genius that I don't even want to hear more until the day I feel music is dead. (A weird irony)

Wow bro me too. If I have a bad day I might dip my toes into ripple or UJB. But I've been saving them for a rainy day!

Been listening to Joey for a long time and got into the Dead just before Jerry died. Never knew Joey was into them. So cool to hear his take on it! Thank you for doing this!

Can really identify with this. I grew up a metal head and hated the Dead and everything they stood for and represented. Then later in high school after opening my mind with various things and having listened to the Doors and Pink Floyd it all clicked. It was a live Terrapin Station from 1977 that hooked me and from then on it has been a lifelong love. I’m also a huge Kiss fan and there are many similarities between the rabbit holes you can go down with both bands.
