I'm a fairly new subscriber here. I have been watching your videos since I found them. Haven't caught up yet!!! I think its AWESOME what you guys are doing! Do you realize how many are lifted by watching your journey. So many people who would never have the opportunity to see even ONE of the places you guys travel to. These videos allow them to travel with you, and with some it gives them something to look forward to. I for one would never be able to climb all those stairs with my bum knee! I feel blessed that you shared your journey, and I was able to see the beautiful view that I would have never seen. Thank you!! That beautiful river reminds me of the Swift River on the Kancamangus Highway in New Hampshire.It is 34 miles across the state and has hiking, swimming, water falls, picnicing, everything needed for an amazing day out with family. One of my all time favorite places. I have been going there since I was very young and now my children and grandchildren enjoy it as well when we are on vacation. I sure hope Eve and Jude got their ice cream.

I Love how you encourage Eve to keep going up the stairs. I feel for you Megan, I am afraid of heights too. Sadly due to my disability I can't climb stairs or walk that far. I used to love hiking and climbing and just being outside enjoying nature. So I am now living it through your family 's journey. You might like hiking on Pilot Mountain in Surry County, NC. Stone Mountain is also great it is near Elkin if you travel on highway 77 north the exit to Elkin that has the hospital takes you to the highway that leads to Stone Mountain. I am sure can google it. I so agree with you on living in North Carolina is beautiful and has so much to offer everyone.

I walked 700 "stairs" (they were carved in a mountain next to the glacier so not so much stairs haha) up a glacier.. I was like eve by the end on my hands and knees... I literally thought I was going to die! Hahah. Great view from the top!
