I always struggle with black embossing powder. Especially on detailed stamps. I have found much better results if I stamp in black ink and emboss with clear embossing powder. Love seeing how your beautiful journal is filling up.

Barbara, I just moved to a different state in North America. My son showed me a store called Craft Warehouse! They sell Van Gogh watercolors!!! I loved that you used the Frankfurt news paper. I lived there many years ago!

This Journal is a favorite for me. I’m working on my 2nd Journal for my best friend of close to 40 years. She’s not a Junk Journaler and I’m not sure she’d understand this type of Journaling. So after I’m done making her Journal, I think I’m going to make one for me. I’ll fill it with collages and beautiful junk. Then I’ll show her mine. If she likes mine, I’ll make her a 2nd one. Lol. My botanical garden gave me a lovely scene yesterday of a cluster of snowdrops beside a rock (it’s late winter here). Of course I made a page in my new nature seasonal journal. One of the ponds had been renewed with fresh plants, come summer it will look amazing. I love waterlilies. Your pages are beautiful.

Spreading your collages around makes perfect sense to me! I’m going to have to do that in my Halloween journal I made 2 years ago or it will be too chunky. Beautiful. I love water lilies especially the large ones that look like floating homes for whatever lives in the pond. Your pages turned out beautiful. Love that you journal the small things in life as years down the road they will be big things. I wish I had listened to my brother in law decades ago when he said journal something every day. He passed away leaving his family beautiful memories.
