I was I was watching another KZbinr this afternoon who is making houses out of book pages. So I got busy and I made four houses with Christmas design. Two of them are big enough to fill a page I'm sure. It's lots of fun. I haven't been making junk journals long enough to have anything that I want to redo. So much fun being with you while you created your new house even though it doesn't have a horse I prefer the second one

As usual, I have so many scattered thoughts racing around in my head. Lol. Last night as I was climbing in my bed, one of my last thoughts…. Ooohhh! Tomorrow’s Sunday. Barbara is gonna give us a snack! Yay!! Okay, …. Love the nails. Noticed them right away. You need to keep them. This month has been all about sparkles & glittery splashes of gold. This works. I love your old Journal. It’s like watching your children grow. You look back at them in pictures and how cute and sweet they were. I love them all. Now you “fly” (Madame dragonfly) to the present day and see how your children (your style) has evolved. Love the new house and all the green flowers. Just beautiful.

I am intrigued by the process of using a previous journal page as inspiration for a new art piece. The difference in style is amazing.. I do find the newer version more appealiing. I think primarily due to the use of more layers, adding depth. Love your story line,, glad you're enjoying your new craft room.

Hallo Barbara, Ich mag tatsächlich beide Häuser. Man sieht die Veränderungen deutlich, trotzdem sind beide auf ihre Art richtig klasse und beide haben ihren Charme. Ich arbeite mit Kindern, gestalte mit ihnen auch Junkjournals in einer einfachen Form.. Wir haben genauso eine Seite mit einem Haus gestaltet und verschiedene Figuren ausgeschnitten, die dann zu Besuch gekommen sind. Die Figuren wurden immer gewechselt und es wurden sich tolle Geschichten erfunden . Das sind die Momente, die meinen Beruf zu einem großen Geschenk machen. Ich liebe es einfach, mit Kindern kreativ zu sein und in deren Fantasiewelt abzutauchen. Dein erstes Haus erinnert mich an die Gestaltung "meiner" Kinder, das 2. It’s hard to compare the two and come up with a favourite, Barbara. The styles are so different. At a pinch, l would say the 2020 version, because of the colours that you used. Also, l did particularly like the clog dangling from the 2020 journal. This new version can be called a "Barbara House" like the Wendy House from Peter Pan. Thank you for the video. I love your giggle! Your Dragonfly house with you being able to fly out. I love both pages. The older one because it was during lockdown and the horse was in lockdown also. The later one is absolutely adorable. I love the sun, along with the greenery. My 2 1;2 yr old granddaughter has 2 journals her gramma has made her. Making her a house with a fairy that can fly out will be perfect for her! She loves having her own glue stick, so I will have to tell her where not to glue on the house, so her fairy can fly in and out. The magnets are so appropriate for the fairy. Truly a great idea. I love the way you just went with the 'clogged up' syrup coloured spray - instead of panicking and thinking 'oh no!'. I absolutely Love ALL on this page 😍 all the textures and colors..Wauw 👏👏 I haven’t start again, making craft, after my moving 😢 I say to my self “ when I am done with my apartment I will start, so I have time”. But maybe I am afraid to start again? I stopped when I have to packed our farmhouse down. And I will just say…it took us 3 months to pack, sell ALL of our furniture and the one barn with yard sale, where I sold old furniture and ALL the stuff that matched a old yard sale. Now I have live 2 months in our new very little, 2 bed apartment and I have to very creative with my storages solutions. This weekend I painted the walls in my craft corner. So I am almost finished and ready for Christmas…but it seems like I find new things i should do or make.😞 I Can’t live in a mess so I had to make my home done first.
