I’m so glad your voice is in the 49ers space. Fans need people like you to give us a reality check. Back in the Mike Nolan days you refused to blow smoke up our ass and it’s appreciated.

Agree with your statement. If you fix the O-line, then the offense is better and stays on the field, and they create more scoring opportunities. Then Brock looks better opening up the passing game with an improved rushing attack. The defense is refreshed and we're all happy.🤪😜

My play goes to Ronnie Bell's drop in LA against the Rams that was the wrap up for a win. It was downhill since from there. As hurt and shitty as we played all year and still be this close to being able to have 10 wins shows the talent 2025 we will be back

Even just the early Rams and AZ games were so crushing. The Niners held a 10 plus point lead late in both those games. If you win those, your 8-6 and right there for the division title or a playoff spot..

IMO, the Purdy pick vs. LA was closer than you state. You said something along the lines of "he'd still have to get a FG or TD..." - but watching the film, without that (illegal) contact by D. Williams while the ball was in the air, that play was likely a TD right on its own. I don't want them to tank... I get the whole improving the draft position thing, and I'll take that as the silver lining in any more losses... but I would also like to see them show us who really wants to be a 49er through thick and thin and also start some momentum in the positive direction and build some confidence. If enough of the right people are healthy, they're still capable of winning any of the remaining games. Will they? IDK. I'm not going to bet on them. I don't have any expectations and past the emotions as you say... but could they win out? Yeah... they could. We'll see. It'll be a nice surprise. We NEED better o-line. Watching film, I see Banks and Brendel getting blown up way too much. Our year would have been a lot different if we had upgrades in those positions. IDK... you do make good points about people getting hurt, but we can't bubble wrap them... they need the live reps too. Good video - a couple of the 49er content people are straight up toxic - I appreciate you for giving some balance to the clowns.

I think we should bring Mason back. He and kittle were the only players that got yards after contact before his injury

Fingers crossed, especially with Isaac’s hamstring issues popping up. I’m sure the Niners could structure a deal to get that done.

C'mon Damon... if "Ifs" were Fifths, we'd all be drunk. The major issue we all see is Kyle regressing as a play caller and Purdy regressing as a playmaker. Nevermind the "if four plays to be a 10 win team" argument. The team has issues that they won't repair and we basically missed our window. The window has closed. You got a great show and I always appreciate your commentary. Keep it up hope you have a Merry Christmas with your family and looking forward to a great 2025 for the Pluce.

It’s a little too much faith in CMC and Deebo. A few more runs by Mason and a few more targets to JJ and Kittle and season looks different.
@johnnyavalon15 сағат бұрын
@Frisco_Schills Me personally, my own opinion, thinks that what you have said can be applied to my statement that Kyle has regressed as a play caller. So I'm not sure if you agree with me or not, but I agree with what you are saying. But that falls under the category of Kyle has regressed. Also, more than one if in your statement and I have to refer you to my statement about "ifs being fifths". (Which i got from D Bruce).

@@johnnyavalon I don’t buy into the Super Bowl window rhetoric. I mean, have you seen how terrible the rest of the league is? I have never liked Kyle’s play calling. He does call plays to win which is why he has a .387 or so win rate in one score games. The frustrating thing is Klye has shown potential that he could elevate his play calling. Look at the Rams game and the last scoring drive of the second Seahawks game as examples of all the pieces being in place, even with all the injuries. The Niners work some strong salary cap voodoo in how they structure deals, so I am not too concerned about who’s going to get paid or be forced off the roster.

Damon, thank you for a reasonable take at season's end! I love your content. I am an Iowa State fan turned 49er fan. This team needs to get healthy this winter and spring, and they can be recharged for 2025. A Brock contract at a reasonable price is a great thing for the franchise. They do need to absolutely nail free agency and the draft this spring, that is critical. I want an offensive tackle, center, and TE in the draft. In free agency let's get a linebacker, DT, and a receiver who can replace Deebo (I think deebo is gone). Deebo's production is horrible and needs to go, I actually think he's a phantom cancer on the team as well. Captains don't tweet about targets getting thrown their way.

Thus is why I love you this is how you beta bust I say that tongue in cheek. You don't slobber all over the team like Lombardi (sorry I don't like that either) you're realistic, you're optimistic (the hippy in me appreciates good energy) I see sincerity when you talk, you don't bend over because someone has a different opinion, you inject real fans who are truly rooting for the team with good information.. I could go on. That is masculinity to me which is why I call you beta Busta lol. Also so many people are not understanding 60 mil is 20% of next cap which is when it would matter and that number would continue to decrease as cap goes up. That is completely fair and normal. He DESERVES 20% of the teams fucking cap. Considering he's been like 1% and he's worked so hard for us every game, every play, everytime he addresses the press, as a leader again I could go on.

@damonbruceplus merry Christmas to you and yours! My husband when I met him made me completely fall in love with football after being one of the most vehiminant football is a distraction it's the American version of the Roman's "bread and circuses" it's only for lame jocks etc chick then I met him and the franchise had just got Kyle so I've been invested and watching since that point and it's how I've learned every single thing about football that I can. I can play call at this point lol I love when I'm talking to guys who are casuals and their eyes bug when I talk about it and know all the deets. I've watched all the documentaries about the Joe Montana Steve Young Era, the movies the Kurt Warner one is soooo good it made me connect with brock even more cuz you can see the amazement of a guy going from probably not drafted to the superbowl and then to hear how Kurt talks about purdy and how much he respects him and his game. Anyway last October we lost my 14 yr old son Luke to suicide and its been hard obviously we still have 3 little boys together but he will always consider luke his first son he came in when he was 8 and instantly filled a flakey dad sized hole they had the best bond. My husband got him into football and it was first year playing fantasy with my husband's league he's played with 10+ years (i had to finish the season for him 🥺)and he got kittle and ayuik ha was so juiced! Anyway I share all that to say my husband completely lost his interest in football understandably I'm sure he'll get it back but I get why he doesn't see it as important anymore. For me it is the best distraction, it's a really fun way to stay engaged with people. I miss that teenage boy energy we had in the house esp during football season. He loved brock. So I turned to KZbin after he passed since my husband and I don't share conversation about it much anymore. I fill him in but youtube has been great for me to still feel comradory about it without my husband and son. The way my husband talked about football and the way you do is so similar. Grounded! In reality, excitement, optism and appreciation for a good team. He was a die hard raider fan until they moved the stadium out of Oakland he was so mad at them he swore he would switch to his dads team the niners and when they announced it that day he trashed his Raiders stuff got some niner stuff and never looked back lol so he experienced season after season of heartache much like you and the bears. Which is why I appreciate you reminding fans how spoiled and entitled they are in the video. I know this is a novel at this point I just could never fit that in a superchat and there is no "sending fan/mail letters to your fave commentators" anymore so I figured you might see this and see where I'm coming from more. 💛🏈❤️ BANG BANG!

They should evaluate their physical fitness team why so many injuries in practice ?🤔 and the two risks in the drafts is the players ability to absorb and integrate into the Kyle system and adjust to the high impact level of NFL playing always risky ,love Purdy but is he another Trevor or Jimmy G as in injury prone ? 🫣🤔 I disagree on what an owner should be or not I prefer one that trims along the edges and steps in when a reset is needed for example in the area of drafting .
