Nobody in the media world has yet pointed out that Purdy threw it to the spot Aiyuk was supposed to get to, but it was preceded by his running into that defensive back while looking back ahead of the deflection. I bet Aiyuk's attempts to go up for it, blocked the DB's line of sight and helped make the lucky bounce happen. Good for him to have maintained his balance. Stayed on his feet long enough to go for that bounce. That part is ALL skill, BABY!

The person throwing the ball has an advantage in tracking the ball after it’s hit , not to mention it all happened within 10 yards of space. Purdy threw the ball 50 yards , bounced off a defender and then it was caught by a 3rd participant who had to follow the ball throughout the play
