Agreed 100%. So proud of that kid. Not his fault that the coach couldn’t make adjustments to the blitzes in the second half. Or for abandoning the run in the 3rd quarter. Purdy didn’t muff a punt, injure Greenlaw, or fumble the ball. Parts of this team didn’t look prepared to play. The buck stops with Kyle. The 49ers were the better football team. A great coach can win with an inferior team. Kyle comes up short with the better team. It’s a troubling trend at this point.

Honestly, Purdy went up against a defensive coordinator who came up with plans to stop Brady in the Super Bowl during the Patriots' nearly undefeated season. The DC has been with KC for over 5 years. 49ers keep getting harvested for their coaches. The difference is that KC has established coaches long term. People need to look at this and understand that if they stick together and keep learning, we will win it. If they get run down, break apart, greedy, and down trodden. 49ers have to start all over. Stay strong, guys, and keep improving. Don't get petty and greedy.

This is what we need. A loyal DC. Not someone who bounces around every year

That's the thing, back then especially it was loyalty to team and they hoped as a team to win it all. But I get it- OC's and DC's wanna move up too. Hope Aiyuk doesn't leave. He's my favorite player and Purdy and him can grow and do some badass things. Gut feelings tell me we got it next year.

Brock has so much congruency of who he is as a winner, and how he plays, what he says, and what his body language communicates; a humble, silent assassin. He takes accountability to heart, and understands the emotional needs of his team around him. Real talk , chiefs don’t win if that punt don’t hit him on the ankle. Lucky lucky lucky for the chiefs. Anyway, brock you’re a badass keep doing your thing. 💪🏻

Purdy completed 3 drives in the 4th quarter and overtime of the Super Bowl that were go ahead scores....let that sink in.

Time to build the offense around him starting with upgrading the OL and giving Brock more control at the line.

As a longtime 49ers fan, to hear Brock Purdy speak with no foul language, respecting others and as a Christian, shows what a perfect role model is for younger people. We finally have a Quarter back to build on for years to come.

How can anyone not like this guy. It seems he is constantly having to prove himself despite everything he does. Gutted about the loss but he is just a shining light. The future is bright.

I agree! He’s why I started watching the 9’rs so closely. He is that guy. If he had the right protection I believe he’d be celebrating. I honestly don’t think KC deserved to win.

There are people, whether in sport or in business, who give you something. Who you follow. Brock Purdy is such a person and athlete. I wish him and the 9er Gang all the best. It will continue. I'm looking forward to the new season

I'm a KC fan and didn't watch many 49ers games (or many NFC games for that matter). The Super Bowl was only the 2nd full game of the team I watched. Yet, I believe this young man is the real deal. Being so young, he did not do a single thing, that led to the L for SF. On such a big stage, under so much pressure, that is an impressive thing. I can defo say he was more impressive than the league's MVP my guys dispatched in the previous game.

Purdy failed to do ENOUGH to win the game - bottom line. He played good, but not good enough. Also a Chiefs fan here.

Definitely a class act. He’s right as a team they could have done better, but injuries hurt the D and offense. Feel so bad for these guys. We do forget that you didn’t get a legit off season last year, that you were injured. Can’t wait to see how Brock excels next year!

He may not have won a superbowl, yet, but u cant argue his character and integrity. A consummate professional, a genuine personality, in every sense. Also remember, the guy came back from a potential serious arm injury. This loss was a gut wrench, and they’ll have to work to get back, but I believe they can. They’ve built well.
