Facts, the difference with him and Garappolo is very clear; Purdy can step up and win when his defense doesn’t play well, Garappolo barely even played well when his defense DID play well. When the play doesn’t go the way it’s supposed to, Purdy actually fights and extends the play, Garappolo would go and throw a bonehead interception or get sacked like the statue he is or like how his time here ended: think he’s Lamar and run a couple yards and get hurt. Garappolo had heart ( no doubt that was apparent ) but this team needed a QB who can go and play at the level this defense typically plays and is consistent. If this isn’t consistency, I don’t know what is. The kid’s an absolute baller and I’m glad to be a Niners faithful born and raised because win or lose come SB Sunday, this story is far from finished for Purdy. #FTTB
