Why do so many chat room guys want to trade Deebo? I'm so tired of idiots demanding trades. Are they trolls? David, help a guy out here and block these morons. They continually demean your podcast.
@BeingButterfly5 күн бұрын
I think they're mostly trolls. But I'm sure some are what I call 49ers fans who continually complain, the 49ers Whiners. The 49ers Faithful love Deebo and want him to say. But trolls and 49ers Whiners don't.
@terrythegnome24085 күн бұрын
It comes from an ignorant stand point that thinks deebo is getting a number one receiver amount of money each year and he is performing at a number 2 receiver level at the very best. Deebo took a pay cut and had his worst year of his career meaning he’d be very under valued on the trade market. Keep him and trade him next year or let him walk.
@warrendavidson47034 күн бұрын
After they finish their night shift they just see things so clearly that they see what the pros don’t. Weird huh?
@paulayala61744 күн бұрын
Because as great as Deebo is, he just isn't a good fit for a QB like Purdy. Deebo is primarily a YAC receiver, good at catching short to medium route catches and gaining yards with his strength and physicality. Purdy, unlike Garapolo, is best at mid and long range passes, making the Aiyuk, Pearsall, and even Kittle and CMC more productive receivers for the 49ers. Also, he's on the injured more often due to his physicality. He'd be a better fit for certain other teams, and they could get a couple of players in return from trading him, whether through drafts picks, veteran players, or a combination of both. The 49ers have plenty of others stars on their offense to pick up the slack, especially knowing in advance that he would not be an option. They need some leverage to bring in support on defense and special teams. It just seems to me Deebo is the most obvious and beneficial option if a trade is to be made for the right player(s). Makes perfect sense.
@terrythegnome24084 күн бұрын
@@paulayala6174 if he was getting better yac then maybe but this last season he wasn't getting hardly any too. The main problem is Deebo can not get open with route running. He just can't.

Shanahan's not going anywhere. If they can get Garrett, great. He's a generational player. Bitonio is a perennial pro bowler. These kind of opportunities don't come along very often. Go for it, Lynch.

If we can get Myles Garrett, a 1st & 4th round pick, assume existing contract & give Myles a shot at a ring. Or make a new contract, but push some off a bit.

If you had a choice between trading 2 first rounders for Garret or signing FA Kalio mack to a 3yr$45 million contrac? I would probably take Kalio Mack and keep my first rounders.
@kennethmotes84394 күн бұрын
I agree with you on that. At the same time Garret is very tempting. The Browns lose some leverage since he asked for a trade. They might be able to get Garret for a 1st and a 3rd this year and a second next year.
@markduncan99374 күн бұрын
@kennethmotes8439 I'm still not giving up a 11th overall pick for him. I would first look to trade down into the 20-25 area with an additional second round pick. Then I would trade that first round pick with a third round pick for him.

Just FYI, there are two acceptable pronunciations of the word Renaissance; one for the US, and one for the UK. However, both have the softer hiss sound for the double S, not a hard Z sound. In fact, it is a very rare instance in which a double S sounds like a Z; the only one that comes to mind at the moment being dessert. Not sure why, but it made me cringe every time you mispronounced the word.

The data around this running back renaissance really isn’t there. 3 out of the 4 teams in the conference championships don’t have a huge money running back (ie. on par with McCaffrey, Barklay etc). That is even more pronounced when you look at all 14 teams who made the playoffs. These KZbinrs feed off of hype.
