Am currently reading Miki’s 2022 memoir, “Fingers Crossed”, and considering the her highly dysfunctional and traumatic childhood / adolescence it’s miraculous that LUSH ever became a band at all. I’m even more thankful for their music now, which I didn’t think possible.

I'll take all the blame and responsibility for fucking up my life in the late 1990s. We all make choices. Good and Bad. However, Music Industry Tribal Culture Vultures who pushed Gangsta' Rap with Bitches and Hos on MTV, didn't help my psyche at all during the period after this great music. I still love hearing "Paranoimia" by The Art of Noise played today. I loved watching it on MTV and can see how my self deterioration was subconsciously assisted along. Propaganda is an incredibly powerful tool. Max Headroom was great entertainment. Now Max is probably real. I never Really listened to the words of "Paranoimia" until ~15 years later. Damn.

@@davidscottthayer8078 In the mid-1990s, I got the Curve CD called Cuckoo. I loved it. Would you consider Curve to be Shoegaze, Alternative Rock, Indie, Industrial or a Hybrid genre? I know labelling is often pointless, especially with so many hybrid sounds around. Cocteau Twins is another band I love and seems to be somewhere near the crossroads of Indie and Shoegaze with a sort of operatic flair. What do I know? I'm a dog.

I've first experienced this song in "Rock Band 2", and I absolutely *LOVED* playing the guitar, bass, and drums (and aced each... but could never remotely nail Miki's vocals, which are magical) on this song. Fast forward some 15 years later, and I STILL love this song.
