also to see anima people render with motion in your animation and with live link, you need to send rendering from 3dsmax using "render animation with vantage button" . its the last button in vantage toolbar in 3dsmax.

a little suggestion. before starting live link you need to enable vray state in ipr in vray settings then your anima people will be visible in live link. so thats solution to anima not visible in live link. now coming to animating people with live link you need to bake animation in anima and then they will render perfectly in anima. they will not be moving inside vanatge viewport but they will render fine in final video. so this video is half right and half wrong. just an advice.
