This combo, really does cover all the bases. Silent, lightweight, durable, multi-fuel and effective in all weathers. I loved using it in the early morning light before anyone was about and I could enjoy the silence of the dawn while the tea water came to the boil.

I like the way the two stoves nest together and function. I've made many wood and alcohol stoves having a hard time spending money on something I can make from tin cans but being able to simmer with the Trangia appeals to me especially when cooking with thin walled camping pots. I too often use alcohol stoves in wood burners to prevent build up on cook ware. I've got some catching up to do watching your video's especially in the kitchen. I practice field cooking at least once a week.

Soot I clean off but carbon build up I don't worry about - at some stage the pot will get a spa day then off it comes. I appreciate you taking the time. How is winter working out up there?

Cool product suite. Agree on the fuel in the burner. After use and cooled down I fill and seal mine to be ready to go for the next use. No mucking about.

Thanks for sharing! That looks like a well thought out kit, "all in one pot" so to speak. Just as often as weight, space is premium when I'm packing. I've turned lots of ultra light equipment just because they don't fit together in a smart way. Cheers mate!

It is a great bit of kit and having it fit together is a bonus. One of Trangias winning formulas. Thanks for stopping by amigo!

@@fadingmargins I haven’t - I have got one which I got with a windscreen for the titan kettle but it’s a large one with a simmer ring it’s a bit too big to fit in the mark 1 ,it never occurred to me to honest I use a trangia in the mark 2
