This has always been one of my favourite songs from you! Such a joy to see a remaster appear in my feed after all this time. All those years ago when it first released it became a song that got me through some really rough times in my life. Thank you for continuing to make and remaster such gorgeous music!

My favorite song from the entire album. Both the old and new version ❤ While personally never headcanoned about Twilight's friends dying and leaving her alone with her immortality still a lovely story. For me her story is happier, thats how I am!😊

I already loved the original version but this is incredible! Keep up the great work 4everfreebrony. Your songs and work continue to inspire me and touch my heart, thank you for everything you've done and worked on. They have always either inspired me, cheered me up, or help me through hardships.

First off, fire song. Secondly, every time I hear Twilight lamenting about being immortal, I can’t help but feel like it’s a humble brag 😂.

It never vibed with me how alicorndom and princessdom was automatically connected to immortality like a switch flip and then going from there into this sadness drama. (Apart from the somewhat dark thought that theoretically unlimited lifespan does not equal immortality.) To me the key point was missed that love keeps such profound grimness away. The show finale conveyed that positive vibe. Yes, one grieves for friends passing, but the lovely experiences accumulate, too, and to me that is a crucial element. Look at Celestia, how much she has experienced. She did not darken. If anything, she grew stronger. After such a long time comes the experienced wisdom that parting with loved ones is an inevitable element of the experience. Personally I pondered every now and then that when the heart is open, the prospect of eternity stops being frightening. This is a spiritual theme that we can learn lessons from, related to how a most happy life can be boring, because a hungry mind judges boredom, but a warm heart rejoices at uneventful times. This is like an approach towards the God nature, being everything, never ceasing, and loving every bit of it, always and forever.
