These types of cards are popular in my place. I've been flipping pc's for more than a year now and I can confidently say that 4gb of vram is enough for casual gamers and gamer's on a low budget.

I've pretty much tested most of the popular triple A titles and get around 70 to 100fps on high settings. Alan Wake 2 is it's Kryptonite though... I can only manage above 60 with FSR on quality but I experienced a green screen crash on that game... I think my card just has slight memory degradation but I think it's cause I overclocked the memory to 1800mhz... Its back down to 1750 now but I'm still really scared to even open Alan Wake 2 again 😂 I will wait till I get an upgrade in the future

@@bamboobelly4052 Hm AW2 is known for running badly... it's a horribly unoptimised title. When it was first launched, it wouldn't even run on GTX 10 series and RX 5000 series or older as it required mesh shaders at the time... That quickly backfired and they quickly removed that requirement once they realised the majority of their target audience were running cards from that era or even older. So it's a miracle that it even runs on a 5700 XT to begin with.

My first GPU was an ATI Rage 128 Pro. It was a beast back in the days. Now I am rocking an RX 7900 XTX on my main PC, an RTX 3060 on my laptop and an Intel ARC A770 on my secondary PC.

My first video card was probably a 2 MB VRAM in a PC with 16MB of FPM, probably a Rage variant of some sort. Current is an RX 6950XT with 16GB of VRAM. I am old enough to remember when drivers were provided by the AIB, and reference drivers from S3, Matrox, ATI and Nvidia often didn't work on non first party cards.

My first graphics card was an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro. I really wanted a BFG Nvidia card, as they were really cool cards back then. I remember getting that card and playing the original Far Cry, half-life, counter strike 1.5 and 1.6. Man those were the days.

As a rx 6500 xt (4gb) I can say that it's not enough to play Fortnite at 1080p competitive settings since I still get micro stutters every 10 secs. I can still play some esports games at 1440p around 200 fps just fine. But I can't even play some really demanding games at 1440p which does makes sense. Bu 4gb of vram can be fine for 1080p medium.

My 3050 Ti has 4GB of VRAM and it's doing just fine. 100FPS at 1080p Low for most of the games that I play, and 50FPS at 1080p Ultra. 1% lows can get fairly nasty though, it's usually half the average so in reality it feels like I'm playing at 50 and 25FPS respectively, this is without DLSS obviously. With DLSS Quality I can get around 50% more FPS average, but the 1% lows remain roughly the same. The game saying I have 150FPS doesn't matter if it feels like I have 50. However I'm fine with 25FPS even at 1080p, my standards just aren't that high. Plus, my monitor is 60hz anyway so I usually have the FPS capped at 60 to prevent screen tearing.

First gpu: GTX 970 - RTX 3080 - 7900XT (current). I love the 7900xt but I wish that more games had FSR settings. If you only play Fortnite and csgo this card will work fine. Personally I’d just go with a newer card in the stack but when you got a budget you got to do what you got to do.

Still pretty good, got a 8gb rx 570 for about the equivelant of 40 american dollars, that means its not as cheap as it is for yall but even compared to other alternatives, (for example a 1050 4gb being regularly going for 60 dollars ish) Mostly play pal world anyway, runs great

I got 1.2ghz but 8gb ram and intel- i3 core 12th generation and intel uhg gpu , although everything is good, except ghz, but I paid for this Lenovo laptop 450 euro , im really satisfied i dont care for smaller screen. Also got little weaker pc but it got parts from 2009-12, so this laptop is technically now best thing i got.

All frame Gen does is increase the visual smoothness of the game. The feel of the game still remains. That’s why they recommend 60+ fps With frame gen

My first real gpu was an ASUS Radeon HD 7870 DirectCU II TOP. It actually didnt fit in my case cause I had no idea what I was doing back then so I literally had to bend the case in a way so it would fit. Current gpu's are: RTX 4080 and Ive got a RX 6600 XT for backup.

I have three systems with a gtx 970 in them. I know the controversy around it though lol. But still a good card for esport games. And that is all me and my kids play together. a separate system is just running a 3200g. And even it runs fortnite just fine. And at least the 970 still gets driver updates.
