I heard there is a big demand from sleep videos with dark screen instead of images so people won't be distracted by the light. Yesterday, the amount of rain we had barely wet the sidewalk. Thanks for doing this cuz others I have seen are just a still picture and sound or it's looped. You let us actually see the storm, It's more relaxing this way. I sleep with my tablet propped up so if I wanted to open my eyes and watch it for a few seconds, I can, then close my eyes and continue listening until I fall asleep. This is the best video by far!!!! Huge thanks for your efforts on this video!!

I love this video! So many of the storms, beach sounds, and other nature sounds are looped, and it becomes obvious (and boring) after just a few minutes. This one is wonderful. It has the perfect level of thunder in the background so that it is soothing, yet not too disruptive. Of course, I am one of those people that loves weather like this. I live in FL, a place where people think we get rain and storms all year around. The reality is that we get storms every single day from early June until the end of September. For the remaining 8 months, it rarely rains. I'll definitely be listening to this more, say, around March or April!

I passed through Ft. Lauderdale after a month-long stay at a friend's place. It seemed to rain everyday in the early afternoon, cooling things down for a little while, but then the humidity would bounce back. It was oppressive. I'd take a cool shower to cool down and after I stepped out of the shower, drying myself, by the time I got down to my knees, the sweat was running down my back again. They had the A/C running almost constantly and when I'd first step into the house, it felt almost too cold, but quickly got used to it. When leaving the house in late afternoon, it was like walking into a wall of heat and humidity. It takes getting used to, since I was acclimated to Minnesota weather, where winters feel like 5 months long.

Keeping the gutters clean is half the battle. I know, I need to do something about the drainage around my house.

+Daniel Zarek WOW, you reply quick! My backyard slopes slightly toward my house, so nothing can be done about grading. I have a concrete stairwell with 2 steps that lead to a back door. There is a small drain in the bottom of the stairwell, but doesn't take the water well. I tried all types of methods to open it up, but no luck. I made a wooden cover to help shed the rain away, but when the rain water pools up behind the house, it runs over the edge and into the stairwell. I had water about 16 inches high on that back door. It holds the water back like a dam, but water does seep under the door, then into my lower level of my house. Enough with my problems... Enjoy the sound effect! :-)

Sounds like you need a sump pump that turns on when the water comes up. Lots of work but compared to digging your yard up its a breeze. That's how we fixed our flooding basement

First and foremost Thank you Texas hi def for all of the tube videos you have posted. Since discovery in approximately 2012 I've been using Thunder storms No Loops and occasionally others I am automatically transitioned to. Obviously this is your biggest hit to date. Even though it's not necessary, some players allow you to loop it , even after 4 hours.

Max Horowitz Dear max ,if you're indoor I don't see a logical explanation to be afraid , like retrogamer33 , I love too the rain and the thunder sound but , in your case , you have to be aware that if you're indoors , the thunder and the lightning it's not gonna hurt you , the thunder neither if you're out doors and the lightning it's 1 in a million chance to struck you or even smaller percent (likely never).You have a roof above you mate.
