I remember when I first unboxed my pair back in highschool. The version I got was the exact same as this video where it was black and by monster. This video had reminded me how it smells like fresh from the box and the good times i had many years back. Thank you for this reminiscent video, my pair is still going strong after years of using.

I’ve been watching you since you started (HifiGuy528) and I’ve always loved your videos as we share the same love for the brand regardless of what other people think! I managed to get a pair of pro’s the original monster new and sealed for £90, always wanted them growing up, brilliant, fun, vibrant, full rounded sound signature that put the rest of the beats line to shame in my opinion, they’re definitely not worth the £350 from apple, but for 200 and below, well worth it for the sound and build quality, not to mention they look fantastic. Nice to see you’re still willing to do these retro unboxings, keep it up!

I have the "Beats Pro version 2013" and i see that the quality compared to the Monster Pro 2010 version it's very poor... My Beats 2013 version already have problems with the paint (i don't know if is paint or metal) it started to turn like black with spots or something like that and the aux cables stoped to working like 8 months after i purchased them since 2013 Lol... still working but the paint seems to fall down pieces to pieces and i don't know how to restore it. Nice video and unboxing also!

I remember back in the day when everyone (myself included) was on the Beats hate train I got to try these out at a Best Buy or something. I didn't think they sounded horrible. I think I preferred them to the M50, but definitely didn't feel like the sound quality was worth the price. Build and design are really nice, though. Does their sound hold up at all?

GAMEPLAYS RANDOMS D Pretty much, neither were very good sounding, major problems with getting balanced sound, there are issues all over the spectrum, treble - mids - bass.
