I do really like this car. I prefer the new Opel Astra to the new Peugeot 308. I think the 308 is too agressive and after some time people will get tired of the design :/ Nice video!

Also when you sit inside. 308 and the Astra. Both are nice, but the Astra has almost more leg space in the width and the steering wheel is what 99 percent of customers are used to. On the bigger SUVs like 5008, i can easily look above the wheel to the instruments with my 188 cm in height. But it doesn't work on 308 or smaller, on 208 it was the worst. In the Astra, you have the classical view and you can read all meters and the screen perfectly. And i also agree, while the Astra looks more "boring, it will age better with its design compared to the 308.

@@heros2110 The astra seems to have better protection for the sensors /radar especially on front than the 308.Important consideration given how expensive the sensors /radars are and even a small bump with someone reversing into you is all it takes on the 308. Design flaw IMO.

Camshaft chains in those engines break like plastic. Whoever bought them, it's time to go replace old chain with a new upgraded one.

too much plastic in interior they cheaped out this is same crap as astra h. Astra k looks much better but mechanic said it brakes alot its not reliable so better choose some other car brand. I think suzuki vitara is better than this

@@heros2110 i have both g and h model with same engine 1.4 16v. G smokes H and leaves it for dead. Same horsepower but much responsive engine

In fact, the astra h has very good plastic, absolutely soft everywhere, this is the best generation of astra, your criticism is not at all deserved
