It is. The engine noise is quite intrusive. Apart from that, it's a nice little daily. And the automatic does tend to roll a tiny bit when moving from the brake to the accelerator and the engine doesn't have enough low down torque to get the car moving, either that or the gearbox just doesn't get the car going immediately. Takes about 1-2secs to understand that you want to drive off.

I like Opel and Vauxhall - Wow, this little 1.2 turbo diesel certainly delivers decent performance with a 208 KMH / 129MPH top speed ! Unbelievable ! - Cool car and great video - I wonder what the VX-R version of this Astra will be like !

its not Diesel, its Petrol/Benzin engine. There is also diesel option at Astra but as 1.5L

I decided to buy a astra k sports tourer 1.6 turbo because i love the look of the k and the way it accelerates + the top speed of the 1.6 turbo is amazing. The L is simply to slow for me (in my opinion)
