Anybody can dance in Rio de Janeiro on Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí during Carnaval:
- if you have tickets to the show, you can dance after the last show of the night behind the Samba School
- if you plan ahead with a Samba School, you will receive a costume depending on your dancing skills, and you will be in one of the groups
- if you have super samba skills, you can get a place inside the Samba School group (one per show - some great schools have two)
- then you compete for the Musas or Reinha da Bateria positions - but it is easier to teach at Sorbonne as there are millions of super talents here in Brazil
- You can have your chance and dance for it - Here are 2 Musas from Europe and the USA that were selected as Musas and danced 24 hours ago on Day 1 of the Carnaval
