There are two things I didn't like about Hachioji: In summer it was the hottest place in Tokyo and in Winter it was always the coldest. 45:15 - If you would have continued straight past Regal Shoes, you would've passed by the shop where I had my first, and only, hanko made. 50:12 - That Iwaki shop has very, very nice eyewear. 53:07 - Before this building housing BEAM was constructed, a small mom and pop Soba/Curry rice shop occupied part of the space. I ate Japanese curry the first time there and it was delicious. Thanks for the memories.

Hey I just wanted to say thank you so much for uploading these videos! I came across this gold mine of a channel last night and I'm just fascinated with it. I'm beyond happy to see a new video uploaded! Thanks again!

Excellent video as always. The care you put in such as sitting on a bench, stopping to look at flowers, showing seeds, and the care you give in giving kids privacy are all masterclass. You sir, are an artist! Thank you for these uploads.

Actually, there are many fields and a small farm about a 30-minute walk from Hachioji Station. When the air is clear, you can see the beautiful view of Mt. Fuji from there.

Even though the houses look quite cheap, compared to Germany - they appear cute and natural somehow, as if they grew there with the nature. Squiggly, frisky, curved, whatever. There are so many different forms of buildings and it's surrounding, beautifully arranged green, that it never becomes boring. Plus, it's again clean and tidy as fuck. Aesthetics everywhere.
