I think the lack of trash cans is one of the reasons why its so clean. If you see trash cans, most likely the place around it gets dirty too.

Rambalac is the king of ASMR walking tours. The BEST part of anything he does is stopping for a cat encounter. His intro and outro of the ground then the sky is perfect.

I feel verbal interactions are so rare in his videos not only mostly because of making videos, but also his respect for peoples spaces and keeping the camera pointed in a friendly position the majority of the time. I feel it is special to see the natural occurrence of conversation he gets when walking about. I remember another video when he was walking at night in the Tokyo or surrounding area when he walked upon a police situation. Nothing alarming, but a lot of officers directing people and traffic in a mostly dark street. One officer stopped Rambalac as he was walking by and they had a short conversation before Rambalac went on his way. I always wondered what the Officer was asking him. Also the best part of any video he makes is when he captures a chance encounter with any cat that crosses his path. One of the best channels on YT.

We went to Japan in 2018. Our hostel was right at that street in minute 11:00 , there was a shop right there which was always playing a piano song, we left and the time went by and we forgot the song and it might sound stupid but it was a valuable memory for us haha and with this video we could finally hear it and remember it. Thank you !

I love Japan; I would gladly change my nationality to (only) Japanese.But….don't be so naive .Husbands can rape their wives; wives are treated like belongings; ditto: women who work. They aren't encourage to chase an education. Then their are the homeless - oh,yesss! And the elderly. Many elderly live in office booth -style accommodation.DO NOT dare to be different, either….this from someone who has a large library of books covering many aspects of contemporary Japan as well as is trying to learn Japanese. It is my passion; I have no other interest. However, you have to remove the rose-tinted glasses from time-to-time.Hmm?

the quick look at the fox? temple was great.i really got the feel of how such a small space could be made so inviting and important.i have just noticed in the last couple walks that he is bowing at temples even if he does not go in.at first I thought he was showing us the stonework on the sidewalk.we seen so much Western influence that I sometimes forget the background culture of Japan.

I went to the Skytree the first time while I was in Japan from late May~early June (the train access was very confusing). The place was full of foreign tourists and I felt like a minority in my homeland.....the same for the Mori Tower in Roppongi Hills. The upper observatory at the Skytree wasn't impressive (the lower deck offers more than great view), but the Mori Tower's roof (outside) was breathtaking. I'll probably go back when I visit Japan the next time.... P.S. Compared to the rest of youtube vids, your films are more like 6K rather than 4K.

This is a bit weird when museum prohibit filming videos, but photos are fine. Videos are just many many frames of photos. If you don't count the sound I mean. Which makes me wonder if you can record the sound only inside the Edo Museum

All he does is film while he walks - usually in a random direction. And,yet , I am only at peace with the day/myself as I watch vlog after vlog after vlog.I am deeply embarrassed .The population of Tokyo is three times more than the whole of Scotland; so why a small city like Edinburgh ( where I live) can't keep its main streets - let alone side streets - as clean as this fantastic city, is beyond me.....tis a pity the people of Scotland aren't as beautiful as the people of Japan,too.N.b. when I say 'beautiful' I DO include the males.
