Konnichiwa sumo fans and thanks always for watching SUMO PRIME TIME. Glad to know you enjoyed watching Enho's 15 matches from the November contest. The New Year's Tournament is less than a month away and I'm sure everyone is anxiously waiting for the first tourney of 2023. I'm expecting a good turnout in January at the home of sumo Kokugikan in Ryogoku, Tokyo. If you can make it to the New Year's tourney this time, it would be great if you can visit some other places besides the venerable Kokugikan, because there are so many sumo related shops, restaurants and establishments throughout Ryogoku area. For this report, I teamed up with a former sekiwake from Brazil to offer a neat tour of Ryogoku. We hope we're able to renew your interest in Japan's traditional sumo town, Ryogoku! Arigato!!

Hello Hiro! First let me thank you for not only your (and your colleague‘s) amazing day by day commentary on Sumo but also for this fascinating channel. Something I picked up during the November tournament though: NHK Grand Sumo Highlights showed many more replays of fights than previously. While this might be interesting in some cases, I was kind of sad to see this meant that we we’re not really shown any of the pre-fight preparations of rikishi. Ura‘s meditation, Hoshoryu‘s chest fist bump, etc. Maybe a bit more of that in the future would be nice. Cheers and thanks again
