4K・ 【4KHDR】Old Kawagoe temples, shrines and Bell Tower

No talking heads, pure Japan walks with minimum ads. 4K HDR TV and headphones are recommended.
Kawagoe is one of old looking places near Tokyo located in Saitama prefecture. It's closer than Nikko or Kamakura but also smaller. The main building of Kawagoe is Time Bell Tower.
I passed from Hon-Kawagoe station through old streets to Time Bell Tower. It became dark when I reached remains of Kawagoe castle which is now nothing but a shrine but I found a cat. Then to Kawagoe Kita-in temple where I found two playing cats. I also tried some ASMR with dry leaves. Then I passed dark residential area to the main Kawagoe market street. Finished at Kawagoe station where I bought fantastic dome cheese cake, but that's another story.

@@OiiAris yes it's true that he gives us a look at everyday japan, the real japan that tourists don't always see. I can understand why people might not think this is a "Magical world" view but it's what I love about his videos. Is this a dramatic way to describe it , yes but these days it's amazing to be transported anywhere and making us feel more connected to other people and places is pretty darn special. On top of that he's pretty darn good. I love his drone work as well. :)

@@mattdavis8899 I 100% agree that this video and the fact that we can feel connected with other people and temporarily get away from life’s stresses is magical and amazing especially during quarantine, but I mean the country itself has just as much bad as it has good. I just feel like the term “real Japan” can be used with any country. But this is just all my opinion so don’t think too much of it. And yes his drone work is amazing.

I visited Kawagoe a year ago during the Kawagoe Matsuri, the streets were bustling with people, music, food stalls everywhere, Combinis converted their parking lots to resting areas with beverage crates build up as chairs/tables. unforgettable memories

I love Kawagoe so much... It is a pretty little city - the shops are all in one place, so the further you walk along the main street from the station, the older and quieter everything becomes... I remember visiting the oldest, dustiest, most full-to-the-ceiling Pla-Mo shop - run by an elderly couple who were probably 70yrs old and that was 15yrs ago. It was very convenient to travel, from my home in Hanno, so I used to go visit the Go-Hyaku Rakan for the afternoon, when I wanted some peace.. To just look at their faces and forget my own thoughts... :)

Dear Rambalac, only you let us know the most unexpected corners of beautiful Japan ... I am late with your delivery of videos ... I hope I can catch up ... that it is getting dark early there, already just after five is closed night !!! ... and how dark the internal streets are when you move away from the avenues or shopping centers, such a beautiful country, at the forefront of technology, it is surprising that it does not foresee such an important detail as a good urban layout of lighting in the streets of all neighborhoods, even if they are internal streets without tourist and commercial deployment, I believe that it is an essential part in taking care of the safety of pedestrians and those with difficulty in moving, with streets without good lighting it is impossible to move without someone is handicapped !!! ...
