My favorite place to watch trains and have lunch happens to be the Kyoto Train Museum. Up on the roof deck you can look down into Kyoto station and most days see the local, regional, shinkansen, and if running the steam locomotive side by side. Unreliable narrator. Trains labeled as "NEX" are obviously the wrong color and missing NEX markings.　4:32 is the 383 Wide View Shinano Special Express. Took me 3 minutes to find.
