I saw Postcard Earth, it was a great demo movie. I was in the front of the 400 level, two sections left. Some of the scenes naturally had a spherical distortion, but mostly it was realistic. Ever heard of trickle down technology? This is an example of trickle-up technology, where tech that's been around for a long time is simply being scaled up massively for much larger audiences. Beamforming or directional audio has been around for decades, and has been used in home theater speaker bars and separates for more than a decade. LED walls for homes are still quite expensive, but are quickly dropping in price.

After visiting last week, the Postcard from Earth movie is my favorite. You really can't get your head around how real this presentation is. The movie is the only one of this kind and is mind-blowing. If you have a fear of heights, don't spend money on anything here. My wife had to step out of the main auditorium before the movie even started due to anxiety from how huge the arena is and how steep the seats are. 400 level seats aren't open for this movie and you would surely freak out if you had this fear. This movie makes you feel really small, like you are part of a colony of ants flying on a drone. You will see real footage of elephants, giraffes, and monkeys and they appear dinosaur size. The pre-show lobby time is alright but the big crowds kind of hurt the experience. Concerts would be epic here but the sheer effects of this screen might draw attention away from the performance, as the musicians look like little ants on a square.
