its because the music is more alternative as they started out as a genuine goth rock band. a lot of vk fans like to call themselves goth or alternative, but as soon as they hear actual alternative music they hate on it because theyre not used to it

I love this song so so much. Tetsu's vocals are so raw and full of emotion, it's truly an amazing Malice Mizer era and I wish I was there to live it. This recording of Sadness is fantastic. The Vocals really shine here. I also fully agree to the sentiment that it is a pity that it was not included on Memoire, similarly to how I feel about Tsukiyo no Kageki by Lareine, which has some of that bands best instrumental work imo. Alongside EEGE, Sadness surely is my favorite Tetsu-Era song. Maybe I would even controversially say that I like the Tetsu Version of that song better than the Gackt Remake, which is also fantastic, but I think Tetsu hits those emotions a little heavier. Thanks for doing God's work as always, brightening up those gems and putting them out here. Your enthusiasm and dedication are appreciated! And finally, yes! Yu~ki is a fantastic bassist. His lines are sometimes a bit low in the mix but once you pay attention to them, they are really intricate and beautiful. In fact, playing them is extremly fun. Until you see Au Revoir, that's the point where I am always procrastinating since it's really quite crazy, at least to me :'D
