Det er absolut en ombygning, men jeg mener ikke det har øget kvaliteten, og da slet ikke for byens borgere i almindelighed. Nogle af beboerne i Aarhus Ø har da fået en bedre udsigt, mens andre har mistet den. Og jeg tvivler ærlig talt på, at denne arkitektur i Aarhus Ø skaber mere liv og øger livskvaliteten. Men accepter nu bare, at vi har et forskelligt syn på arkitektur og kvalitet. Jeg synes f.eks. heller ikke at Palm Jumeirah i Dubai eller eksemplerne på Villes Nouvelles i Frankrig er god arkitektur.

Some people find it appealing and like living in such modern spaces. A city like Aarhus should be big enough to accommodate variety,, it's natural. Also the design isn't perfect, but it's still good, I mean it's a city in Scandinavia, which is pretty high up there. Whether you live in the old town or in a high rise, it's still gonna be more sane and pleasant than north American suburbs, 99.9% of cities in China, or whatever is happening in places like Dubai.

@@archwalks Because at BEST they look like what a angry toddler would build with a lego set. Look at what humans build pre 1950's. Modern architecture is a disgrace. Sorry to say.

@Fpsmedia1337 By 1919, modern buildings were already being built without the frills of the old wig-like architecture. Modern buildings are the sign of the democratization of architecture. The highly decorated buildings of the 1800s were intended for the upper classes and certainly not for the middle classes. Social democracies, like those in Northern Europe, protect the common good of all social classes, unlike what happens in Dubai, Doha, etc...

@@archwalks Nope, you are strawmanning alot. Also I live in Tuborg Havn, one of the richest areas filled with some of the richest companies in the world, and guess what they all build? Expensive but UGLY modern buildings. Modern architecture is just ugly, and it's deffinetely probably true that it is ugly because it is influenced primarily by left wing socialists.
